What are Forehead Lines?

Forehead Lines are horizontal lines mainly due to movement of the underlying forehead muscle. They are typically the lines of someone who frequently expresses concern. Sometimes the condition is compounded by age-related loss of volume in the forehead. This can cause the skin and brow to sag and the muscle to work even harder to lift them back up, worsening the appearance of lines.

How are Forehead Lines treated?

Facial assessment comes first!

Some Forehead Lines can be treated with Anti Wrinkle Muscle Relaxant injections throughout the forehead. These injections relax the muscle so that it can no longer pull the skin to form horizontal lines or folds. With regular treatment existing lines tend to smooth out and new lines are prevented from forming.
